Job Title: Brand Launch & Optimization Manager (E-Commerce)
Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Brand Launch & Optimization Manager to oversee the successful onboarding and optimization of newly acquired brands across ecommerce marketplaces. This role is responsible for transforming basic product catalogs into profitable, high-performing online stores while identifying opportunities to improve existing brands when applicable.
The ideal candidate has strong experience with Amazon and Walmart marketplaces, inventory and business management systems, and excels at analyzing data to drive growth. You will take ownership of brands during their critical launch phase, implementing strategies that position them for long-term success before transitioning them to the ongoing management team.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Launch & Optimization
- Manage newly acquired brands from onboarding through their initial growth phase
- Transform basic product lists into fully optimized and market-ready online storefronts
- Develop and execute launch strategies that improve profitability and brand value
- Identify opportunities to optimize existing brands and enhance overall performance
- Ensure brands are properly positioned for long-term success before handoff
Marketplace Management
- Create, update, and optimize product listings on Amazon and Walmart
- Improve product titles, bullet points, descriptions, keywords, and backend attributes
- Monitor listing health and resolve catalog issues promptly
- Analyze competitor activity and identify growth opportunities
Inventory & Operations
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment needs
- Utilize inventory and business software to maintain accurate records and reporting
- Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
- Support cross-functional teams to ensure smooth brand execution
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Track sales performance, profitability, and key marketplace metrics
- Build and maintain reports using Google Sheets
- Analyze trends and provide recommendations for optimization
- Present insights and progress updates to leadership
Project Management
- Coordinate multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Ensure timelines and deliverables are met
- Document processes and facilitate smooth transitions to long-term account managers
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing Amazon and Walmart marketplace accounts
- Strong understanding of ecommerce operations and marketplace best practices
- Experience launching, optimizing, or scaling ecommerce brands
- Familiarity with inventory management and business software systems
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets, including formulas and reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities
- Ability to work independently and make data-driven decisions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Amazon Seller Central and Walmart Seller Center
- Knowledge of inventory forecasting and demand planning
- Experience with listing optimization and conversion strategies
- Familiarity with ecommerce reporting tools and marketplace analytics
