About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with UKG Ready and a strong understanding of payroll processes, employee records management, and payroll compliance. This role is essential in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and assist with bi-weekly or semi-monthly payroll using UKG Ready.
• Maintain and update employee payroll records and information.
• Review timesheets, attendance records, and payroll data for accuracy.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding payroll-related tasks.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and benefits.
• Prepare payroll reports and maintain proper documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and payroll regulations.
• Coordinate with HR and Finance teams regarding payroll updates and discrepancies.
• Assist with payroll audits and year-end reporting processes.

Qualifications

• Required: Proven experience using UKG Ready.
• Previous experience as a Payroll Assistant, Payroll Administrator, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of payroll procedures and best practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with U.S. payroll processes.
• Knowledge of payroll taxes, deductions, and compliance requirements.
• Experience in a remote work environment.
